Acid Armor capules
Serrapeptase has been shown to effectively reduce injury recovery times.

Clinical studies show that Serrapeptase can reduce swelling up to 5X faster then using ice alone. Serretia, comprised of 100% pure Serrapeptase, has also been shown to successfully reduce sinus mucus and promote normal breathing. Serrapeptase promotes a healthy response to injury, which naturally declines as we age, allowing for faster recovery and lessening discomfort. Serretia is an excellent complement to any Neprinol regimen!

 WHY TAKE SERRETIA?

Serretia has a variety of different benefits that may help ameliorate the following:

  • Promote Healthy Sinus Activity
  • Faster Recovery
  • Muscle Tears and Pulls
  • Post-Surgical Recovery
  • Reduce Swelling

*Furthermore, like other proteolytic enzymes, Serrapeptase serves as a healthy alternative to conventional medicines such as Ibuprofen, aspirin, and other Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs), which may have detrimental effects on various organs, including the liver and kidneys.
What is Serretia?

S
erretia is Arthur Andrew Medical's natural serrapeptase supplement that is made up of 99.99% pure Serratiopeptidase, which is more commonly known as Serrapeptase. Originally discovered in the intestine of silkworms, the proteolytic (protein-digesting) enzyme Serrapeptase is harnessed by Arthur Andrew Medical through the isolation of the micro-organism, Serratia E-15. Serrapeptase's inherent ability to digest dead tissue enables the enzyme to work as a natural anti-inflammatory, which has been found to successfully aid in degenerating scar tissue, cysts, blood clots, arterial plaque, and also allows for more fluid and natural blood flow throughout the body.
Serretia for Swelling and Pain:

Although conventional NSAID's are helpful in inhibiting the body's natural responses that lead to inflammation as a result of an injury, they may also have unwanted and detrimental side effects, such as gastrointestinal pain. NSAID's may do an effective job of masking the pain and inflammation of an injury, however merely masking the aforementioned symptoms, only prolongs recovery.

The use of systemic enzymes, such as Serretia, provide a better choice and are more conducive to increasing the speed of recovery. Serretia works by digesting any dead tissue that may accumulate as a result of an injury, which then allows normal fluid retention to take place and thereby reducing swelling and pain while enhancing one's ability to heal. Furthermore, while NSAID's can have negative gastrointestinal side effects, Serretia may aid one's gastrointestinal tract by helping it to better break down proteins and therefore improving overall digestion.

 SERRETIA SUGGESTED USE

Directions: Take 1 to 2 capsules with 8 oz of water between meals or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Serretia is an excellent complementary product to any Neprinol or Syntol regimen.

Warning: Do not take Serretia without the consent of your physician if you are taking anti-coagulants or if you are pregnant or nursing.

Is Serretia safe?
No serious or adverse side effects have been reported from taking systemic enzymes such as Serretia.

When is the best time to take Serretia?
For best results, take the product at least one hour prior to eating and/or two hours after a meal.

Can I take Serretia with other supplements?
Serretia can be used safely with other dietary supplements. In fact, it is recommended that it be taken in conjunction with Neprinol or Syntol for additional proteolytic and fibrinolytic support.

How long does it take for Serretia to work?
Although every person is different, some have reported feeling the effects of systemic enzymes in as little as 45 minutes. For therapeutic regimens, the progression may be slow for some and quicker for others. Serrapeptase has been clinically shown to thin mucosal secretions and limit pain due to injury. These effects are typically noticed within a very short time frame, though the other benefits of taking Serretia on a regular basis are boundless and will progress with time.

 STUDIES ON SPORTS INJURIES

In Europe the overall use of systemic enzymes has been far more widespread than in the United States, however it is important to note that this is not due to the lack of efficacy of proteolytic enzymes and has more to do with each respective healthcare system. In Germany in particular, systemic enzymes have been actively used for decades and are even used by the German National Hockey team in order to treat and prevent injuries.

German Dr. M.W. Kleine and his team at the Sports Medicine Investigation Center in Grumwald, Germany, decided to look at 100 athletes in order to determine the effectiveness of proteolytic enzymes. Dr. Kleine took each subject and removed two cubic cm of blood from their anticubital vein. By reinserting the blood under the skin on each subject's right forearm, Dr. Kleine and his team were able to reproduce a hematoma (blood clot). 50 of the subjects were then given placebo pills, while the other 50 subjects were given proteolytic enzymes; each subject taking one pill three times a day.

The results speak for themselves: 35 or 70% of the 50 subjects that had been treated with enzymes reported considerably less pain, less inflammation, a shorter lasting amount of pain on pressure and had the hematoma disappear in a shorter amount of time than their placebo counterparts.[1]

Preventative Uses for Serretia:

Serretia can also be successfully used in order to prevent injuries or simply mollify the trauma of an injury or surgery. In another German study, researchers set out to discover how well Serrapeptase could assuage the pain and swelling of subjects who have undergone surgery.

The German study involved sixty-six subjects that had undergone surgery in order to treat the rupture of the knee ligament, which is often suffered by athletes and causes substantial pain and inflammation. The subjects were split into two groups; one of which took serrapeptase, while the other was given a placebo. Three days following the surgery, the subjects that were given serrapeptase were found to have a 50% reduction of swelling and experienced less pain compared to their placebo counterparts.[2]

*In another Japanese study, researchers made up of members from Tokyo's Metropolitan General Hospital, and Nippon Medical School set out to discover the effects of Serrapeptase on patients with chronic airway disease. Twenty-nine subjects were selected, of which 15 were administered 30mg of serrapeptase per day for four full weeks. The other 14 subjects were used as the control group and were not given any serrapeptase.

Following the four weeks, researchers found that the 15 subjects who were given serrapeptase experienced a decrease in overall sputum production (a mixture of saliva and mucus), a decrease in 'frequency of coughing and in frequency of expectoration'. As a result, the researches concluded that serrapeptase may have beneficial effects on individuals who suffer from chronic airway disease by minimizing mucus production, coughing, and expectoration, while enhancing one's ability to breathe.[3]
